About

A voice said, “Shout!”
I asked, “What should I shout?”

“Shout that people are like the grass.
    Their beauty fades as quickly
as the flowers in a field.

The grass withers and the flowers fade
beneath the breath of the Lord.
And so it is with people.

The grass withers and the flowers fade,
but the word of our God stands forever.”

Isaiah 40:6-8

Hello 🙂 My name is Feyisayo, and I’m a medical student and future dermatologist in the U.S. I am Nigerian-American, from the Yoruba tribe, and I love delicious food (eating is a legitimate hobby), fashion, traveling (my body is in school, but my mind is on the beach), poetry, good music, good humor, and spending time with my friends and family. I also enjoy code-switching (Jesu!), and eating fried goat meat stew.

I love Jesus, and I am passionate about the body of Christ waking up to walk in the glory of God. My prayer is to see young people discover what it means to walk in holiness, experiencing the supernatural power and intimacy of God that changes lives. In this generation, we will see people worship God in spirit and in truth like never before, and he will raise them up in glory to enter into spiritual dimensions and positions of influence to change the world. My personal goal, and hope for you, is to not miss this powerful move of God. I want to be a part of God’s story.

I am also currently submitted to a maturing process, with obedience being the overarching lesson. That’s why I started this blog. My personality is typically more reserved, but the Holy Spirit has given me boldness enough to say whatever he tells me.

God is not human, but he is his own sort of person, and I would like to encourage others to discover the personhood of God. To know him is to love him.

If you’re reading this, he’s already inviting you to get to know him. And if you accept the invitation, you won’t be disappointed.

With love,

Feyisayo
